New Year, New February RP?

I tried to move away from it.

I stopped when I was close enough, knowing that I would have only one shot at it. I braced my lance as it got closer to her, growling a little bit. I studied it's body language and held it, throwing the lance with all my strength as it pounced at her. I was scared to watch, but when the cougar collapsed on its side, the spear embedded in it's side, I started shaking like crazy as I stumbled to her.

“Please get me down, before more come. ”

I quickly cut the rope with my knife. "Are you okay?" I whispered, leading her back to the camp.

I nodded a little I was still pretty shaken up, “They sprayed me with something I need to get it off.”

I nodded and soon, we were back at camp. "I'll go get my lance, you do what you need to, okay?" I kissed her head.

I nodded slightly, “Ok.”

I nodded a bit, rubbing her shoulder before turning around and heading back to the mountain lion.

I quickly found a change of clothes and washed the smell of then started washing my clothes once I was changed.

I grabbed my lance and pulled it out of the animal. Then I noticed the rope. I cut a length of it off and started cutting off a bit of the lion and skinning it before tying the chunk in a bundle. We needed the meet for food. I started walking back to the camp. "I'm coming back!" I announced.

"OK!" I hung my clothes up to dry.

I walked over to the center and set the meat down next to the fire pit and my lance near the water. I walked over to her and once she finished her task, I quickly pulled her into a hug.

I hugged him back tightly and buried my face in his chest, "The guy said something about them getting prettier and prettier every season while he was touching my face," I told him, my voice muffled.

I buried my hand in her hair, holding her head while my other was around her back, keeping her close to me. "It's okay, it's okay, I promise. I'm not going to let them do anything to you." I spoke softly, making sure that I didn't do anything to rattle her.

((FYI, he still doesn't have a shirt on. He woke up and immediately ran to her, not giving him time to put on a shirt. Just thought you should know.))

"But he said every season."

((she's too shaken up to notice at the moment))

((I know.))

"I know, I know," I whispered, stroking my hand than her. I started swaying back and forth, moving her with me. I gently pulled away, holding her at arms length. I looked down at her. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you. I need you, we're all we have right now."

"I know you won't let anything happen to me. TV shows have seasons."

I frowned a bit, looking away, thinking about what she and what has happened to us so far. "Those disappearances, the ones that always returned, it lasted only a few months. And that camera we found on the tree... we're on a t.v. show. A really messed up t.v. show." I looked around, at the trees. "But why and who is behind this?"

"I don't know, that guy didn't give me any information, I don't think he was supposed to mention seasons."

((Sorry, my laptop keeps dying because the charger keeps slipping out.))

I nodded. "But it makes sense, doesn't it? But what kind of sick person would watch this?"

I shrugged a little and went bright red when I realized he was still shirtless.

I looked around, trying to to think before sighing. "Our privacy has been completely invaded. Man, they saw us kissing." I started running my hands through my hair, just thinking, but I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be thinking for by means of solutions.

I glanced at our shelters, "If we closed the shelters off completely they would be private..."
