Tumblr Academy reimagined

I found myself wanting to argue that we weren't polar opposites but found that by saying that I only added to his point, so I kept my mouth shut. I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face. "That we can, though I feel like I have the most learning to do so I hope you're a good teacher."

"Likewise." I looked around. "So, what were you about to do before I interrupted?"

I coughed awkwardly, just now realizing I was still holding onto his arm, which I now released. "I was actually about to, uh, purposely get lost in the bunker because I was trying to avoid talking to you and gather my thoughts. But this had already worked out better than that plan so I don't have a need to do that anymore."

((DUDE! I JUST HAD A THOUGHT THAT MIGHT MAKE YOU CRY, but it's good, wanna hear it?))

I smiled. "Or, we could get lost together." I offered him my arm.

((I might be exaggerating, but I still think it's good.))

((Shoot. But quickly. I'd planned on this being my last post but now I wanna know. So my next post is my last before I sleep.))
"Well, now I'm glad that Kira didn't have any good leads earlier," I grinned, accepting his arm. "Granted I won be pleased for long, but for now I'm happy with it."

((So, like, imagine a life-or-death scenerio, like an explosion or something and Aiden and Nic are trapped together, but Aiden grabs Nic's hand with his own and mentally commands the vibranium suit to cover Nic instead of him so he can be safe and Nic can do nothing to stop it just like in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.))

I smiled and started to lead him down a random hall, not knowing where we were going, but I just wanted to be alone with him right now.

(There's you thinking of the dark stuff and me internally just thinking "wow, it's gonna be cute when Aiden sees how much Nic loves and gets along with horses" and things like that. I'm mostly thinking about the fluff, but I have something planned for Nic's world that could be sad that I might do, depending of what world is next and everything))
I enjoyed just walking around with him, without speaking, for a while. "What's your world like?" I asked, after a long period of companionable silence.

((Yeah, I just had that thought, but they all literally look like anime characters in my mind because that's how they come out when I draw them... so I'm constantly mentally watching anime, I guess.))

I thought about it. "Well, it's the world of super heroes, so... we get attacked a lot. New York especially. My dad is this genius billionaire, Tony Stark. I have a lot of super-powered aunts and uncles, but they're all honorary. My uncle Steve, he's a super soldier, super strength, super fighting. Like my Uncle Bucky and Aunt Nat. So, we're kinda... technologically superior, I guess. Looks like this world, though... mostly."

"Are there a lot of superheroes?" I asked. "You say it's a 'world of super heroes', so is he majority of the population superhuman in some way?"

I quietly slipped past them so I could get into the library without interrupting, “Hey Alistair? You have books on all of us right?”

Aiden: "No, just a few, I think. I don't know, it's complicated with the mutants."
Alistair: "Uh, yes. It's my job to know every story as the librarian." I pulled up my book bag.

“Ok, the monster we faced in my world was from this one right? And then we ended up here so do you think it would be safe to assume that whatever we’re going to face here isn’t going to be from this universe? If that’s the case, I’m going to guess it’s going to be someone from our groups monster/villain so the reason for the books is they probably have some kind of clue.” I may or may not have been at least partially in my Athena personality when we got pulled through...

I nodded slowly. "That's smart." I started pulling out several books, one after the other. Nic's story, Aiden's story, my story, Artemis's story." Some had more books than the others.

“Thank you. Sorry I can’t really help read through the books.”

"It's okay. Well, maybe these ones?" I slid the comic books featuring Aiden towards her. "They're pictures, so there would be pictures of villains, right?"

“That would work!” I looked through the comics.

I smiled and pulled up Nic's book. Ranger's Apprentice. It looked interesting enough. I started to thumb through the pages.

I kept looking through the comics.

I skipped to the middle and started slowing down. "Hey, do you know where I can get a notepad and a pen? I feel like it would be a good idea to write a list in case there are more than one."

I looked around and found some paper and a pen.

"Thank you." I wrote down some names that were coming up as I flipped through the pages. "I'll have to ask Nic about these people and how potential a threat they are."

I nodded and wrote down names from the comics, I didn’t realize I had written them in a Greek.

I looked at what she wrote. I smiled a bit. "Olivia," I tapped her hand to get her attention.
