Dragon Born Reboot

I stood up, Terriam jumping out of my lap and into Marina's.

Marina: I smiled slightly and held Terriam.
Regan: I let Sanabit down and started walking to the woods.

Leandro: I hummed a bit and looked around. "What now?"
Alexander: I quickly followed her. I didn't say anything, I just stared around the forest while we walked.

Marina: “I don’t know, I should’ve guessed they would leave, but I had to ask, you know?”
Regan: I hesitantly slipped my hand in his and kept looking around.

Leandro: "Yeah, I guess. He's a total puppy around her, it was kinda obvious to everyone but them."
Alexander: I felt my heart flutter as I gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. "W-What are we looking for?"

Marina: “Exactly. They were to oblivious to figure it out themselves and they wouldn’t have believed any of us.”
Regan: I shrugged a bit, “I don’t know I just want to look around.”

Leandro: "I hope they're gonna be okay."
Alexander: I nodded. I wanted to be alone with her right now, but I was just getting a feeling, like someone was watching us. I didn't want to point it out to her, however.

Marina: “They’ll be fine.”
Regan: I glanced around a bit, I hated the sensation of being watched.

Leandro: I nodded and looked at the dragons. Sina was laying by the fire, but she was draped over Nero, who did not mind at all.
Alexander: I was about to say something when I heard a soft thud behind us. I turned around, keeping Regan behind me when I saw a man standing right on the path. He was short, shorter than Octavia, with sharp features and sharp ears. Honestly, he looked like he was dressed like Peter Pan. "So, the rumors are true," he spoke.

Marina: I saw Terriam and Sanabit perk up a bit and look toward the woods.
Regan: “Who are you?”

Leandro: "What is it?" Their unease had cased a ripple affect. Sina looked up towards the woods, and her worry that was in the back of my mind made me worry.
Alexander: "Oh! Terribly sorry," the elf spoke. He had a sort of British accent, but not quite. "I am Raelene Imogene. But my friends all me Rae for short. I'm an adviser to your father, Alexander." I blinked. "My dad? My dad's an office manager at a law firm. Uh... you mean secretary? Did Darlene get fired?"

Marina: “I don’t know.” I stood up as Nero inches closer to the woods with Sanabit and Terriam.
Regan: “Biological father Alex, he’s an elf, can’t you tell?”

Leandro: "Lead the way," I whispered to Sina. She took off immediately, and I followed.
Alexander: "U-uh, right. I'm sorry." I looked at Rae. My biological father. "Uh... adviser? Can I ask anything about my father? Why are you checking on me? Did I do something wrong already?" All the questions spilled from my lips before I could really stop myself.

Marina: I chased after them with Ash right behind me.
Regan: I frowned a bit when I heard people running toward us and looked at Rae, “What’s going on?”

Leandro: I knew Octavia followed too.
Rae: I smiled. "Just doing a wellness check. Your father is excited to meet you, Alexander. Though, I wouldn't point out the height difference, he might get a little self conscious." I took a step towards them, but stopped at the running as their friends came along.
"I'd be careful if I were you guys. Your father has ordered for no elves to harm any of you as he normally would for dangerous halflings, but I can't speak on behalf of any other court that might roam around here." I pulled out a small business card and threw it dramatically to Alexander, who fumbled to catch it. "Burn it to summon me, in case you find yourselves in danger. As of now, I answer to you as well, my prince."

Marina: I got to the clearing right as the elf said something about Alex being his prince and saw the dragons run straight for him.
Regan: I got in front of the dragons, “Hey stop he isn’t hurting us!”

Rae: "It's quite alright, Miss Summers. In time, you all will know a bit more about the turmoil."
Alexander: I blinked and Rae was gone, vanished into the air. "Okay... that was weird." I pocketed the card and crouched down to calm Terriam, who was hissing slightly at the spot where the elf once was.

Regan: I frowned a bit, but picked up Sanabit to calm her down.
Marina: “What just happened?” I picked Nero up and set him on my shoulder.

Alexander: Terriam crawled into my lap and scampered up onto my back. I stood up. "That guy... he's an adviser to my father... he called me a prince. What does that mean?"

Regan: “It probably means your dad is a king.”
Ash: Lume would not calm down at all, he was telling me that the elves were evil and out to get us, “Uh guys?”

Leandro: I was having a hard time calming Sina down. "What, Ash?" I called, trying to sooth her.

Ash: “Lume keeps saying the elves are evil, I think he might be losing it...”

Octavia: I got Neith pretty calmed down eventually. "This entire thing is weird, but at least Alexander knows who his father is."
Alexander: I scoffed. "Barely. The man sent some random guy to check on me rather than actually check up on me himself."

Regan: “It’s probably a safety concern.”

Alexander: "Based on the dragon's behavior, I can imagine that's true." Terriam finally calmed down and scampered over to Lume.
