FEBRUARY'S Fun Prompt!

((You wish. I'm kinda' odd for guys. Most are nerds or jocks or just normal. I am different. I'm attracted to girls in a different way. Plus, attraction is only a fragment of our thoughts. actually, that's not true. We're pretty much always thinking about girls... and that goes for all guys, not just me.))

I watched until he finished, then added the rest of the magic since the water I drank had given me enough energy too. "Well that was fun."

"Yeah." I leaned back and put my arm around her once more. "You're a pretty good mechanic for an Olympian." I smelled her hair again, pulling back and smiling. "You're hair smells amazing."

"Oh uh thanks," I wasn't really sure what to say I had never had someone compliment me so much before most people just told me to leave after monsters started attacking and I put them or their families in danger not on purpose of course, anyway it was nice not being told to leave again.

I smiled again, staring into her eyes. "Is it okay if I... kiss you?"

I nodded a bit surprised that he asked I mean it would've been fine if he had just kissed me... oh well it was kinda cute that he asked before doing anything.

I pulled her a bit closer and pecked her on the lips. "Thank you. Honestly, I think I'd die if I couldn't kiss you."

I laughed a little, "I don't think you would die."

I chuckled. "You're right. That would only happen if I couldn't... again, it sounds wrong, but... touch you."

"No its fine I understand what you mean by it so it's fine."

"Good." I pressed my nose against her hair again, sliding my torso slightly behind hers. Her perfect shoulder blades pressed against my chest, and her warmth on my body calmed my nerves, even though my skin tingled wherever we touched.

I smiled and realized how tired I was from using so much magic, then slowly started to fall asleep.

Olivia drooped in my arms, and I picked her up, surprised at how light she was even without my ring on. I set her down on my bed, laying down behind her and taking her in my arms again.

"Thanks," I mumbled quietly already half asleep, then fell asleep completely hoping I wouldn't have nightmares like I normally did, but with my luck I would, in fact they might even be worse.

I looked down at Olivia as she slept. I stayed there, holding her. I didn't like leaving her, and something told me she wasn't a restful sleeper, always running from monsters and such. I put my face in her hair, squeezing her shoulders even though she wasn't awake. Hopefully I could comfort her... the thought of her having bad dreams made my heart sink for some reason. "I'll protect you," I whispered in her ear. "always. Everywhere. Even in your dreams." I closed my eyes and focused ll of my will into a positive vibration, pushing it into Olivia. "That should help."

While I slept nightmares of everything I had ever been through flashed through my mind, but for some reason they didn't seem scary like they normally did, this time I felt like I was just watching instead of experiencing it all over again, it was a nice change. Thank you Kenneth.

I went into a trance like state, connecting to Olivia and sliding into her subconscious. It was surprisingly easy, as if we were already connected, or we were made to be connected. Images of monsters, Olympians and death flashed before me. Olivia had been through some pretty hard stuff... Even though I'd never experienced sympathy, and nothing really came close to what I'd been through, not even her trials, for thw first time in my life I felt bad for someone. She shouldn't have gone through all of that. Danged Olympians... the thought of them hurting Olivia as much as they had brought that rage back, burning within me. I suppressed it, though, pressing positive thoughts again.

I don't know how, but somehow I knew he was with me, and that he was seeing everything, every quest, every problem, every time I had been forced to leave, tartarus... everything which was extremely comforting I had kept it all hidden for a long time knowing that no one would understand, so it was nice to finally have someone who did.

((Sorry; watching Psych -- hilarious.)) I didn't want to alarm Olivia. I wanted to show her something, but I didn't want to alarm her. I dug for memories of me... me asking for permission... I altered the dream a bit, changing the words coming from my mouht from 'may I kiss you' to "may I show you?"

I nodded hoping he could tell that I did, "of course you can."
((I've never seen Psych but I've heard of it.))

I shivered a bit... communicating in dreams always freaked me out a bit. I dug a memory from my own head. It was one of my little sister. She was just a baby, just barely born. I was in a hospital, holding her in my arms, clumsily rocking her.

dream communicating was strange, I'll admit, but I'd done it a few times so it didn't really weird me out anymore. "Is that your sister?"

Olivia's voice coursed through my head, eerie and odd. I 'voiced' a yes, starting to change the dream. "Her name was Shel, short for Shelbie." The dream changed from my sister to Hera, appearing from a ball of bright light. I ran up to her, in the dream, grabbing her robes with young, six-year old arms. I was beating on her thighs ans she floated to my mother, shooting heat rays into her shoulder and ripping my sister from her arms. I climbed on her back, attempting to get my sister back. She smiled her evil, twisted smile, darkness practically pouring from her features as she grabbed me and launced me through our house's wall, dissappearing in a flash with my sister.

I was angry, but tried to stay calm. "And that would be her most annoying majesty queen hera the loose canon."

A rumble of emotion flowed from me. Annoying was hardly a good description. "Yes." I switched the dream once more, showing her how Aphrodite, Hera and Athena, in their majesty descended from dark clouds, not even attempting to veil their evil. Whisps as black as the hearts they eminated from tore through my old house, demolishing it until the only thing left standing were me and my mother. I was screaming at them, pointing a high-powered rifle up and warning them away. They ignored me, shattering my gun and grabbing me and my mom. Their hands dug into our flesh as they pulled us through the dark vortex to Olympus. The next images were in a stone cavern beneath Zeus' palace. I was chained up, dangling from the ceiling. Several men in leather tunics walked in through a tunnel, carrying huge leather whips laced with bones and nails, and glowing red hot. I stopped it as soon as they started lashing us; I didn't want Olivia to know what that was like. That experience was the big cheese. The one that was worse than anything anybody else had ever experienced, and I did not want anybody have to experience it; espescially not Olivia.
