I almost laughed, but caught myself. That would probably upset the link. "Hermes... He's dumb, and he actually doesn't know as much about what's going on. Even after over a million years. And the Hermes cabin?"

"Well at CHB we have a bunch of cabins, each one represents a different Olympian, major and minor. Their children stay in those cabins. So all the kids in the Hermes cabin are children of Hermes."

"Yeah... and you've never looked in your backpack since you got kicked out?"

"I have, but I've always been looking for specific things so I've never found anything. The way that backpack works is anything I can fit through the opening will go in no problem, and in a way disappear no mass, no weight. So anything that has been put in there can be taken out, the problem is I don't always remember what has been put in."

"Hmm. Sounds like the backpack is connected to an electrical signal bridge; it's got a big long explanatoin attatched to it, but it's basically a portal. It's pretty common, actually, and pretty useful. The portal goes to some gigantic store room of sorts; probably with special visual effects and electromagnetic levitation to make it seem like it's in the backpack. It's actually pretty dang cool."

"Huh. I have a couple of storage units like that; they can be useful when you need to store heavy machinery or even a deep space vehicle on a mission. Only mine don't have all of the visual tricks, and they're not limited to things that can fit in a backpack." ((Sheesh, that was rough... oi, enough complaining.))
