"It will melt their tires, but until friction and Newton's laws kick in, they will be skidding towards us quickly!" I called. Then, a small wave of force could be felt. The tires burned. "Get out of the way!" I shouted, pushing them out of the way.

"What is wrong with you?!?" I shouted right before she shoved us. Lenora was still out cold. The cars were coming near us. There wasn't time to move any farther. I hugged her tightly. I'd try to protect her and all of the others. Especially Rachel. I wasn't gonna die here, or get stuck here. I had to get back to her. Somehow the cars missed us. I breathed a sigh of relief. I hadn't even realized that I had been holding my breath.

I looked at the cars as the sped on. "What's wrong me with me?" I repeated as the crashed into the nearby wall. "Lot's of things."

((For someone who isn't used to stuff like that, he handled it pretty well... Even though he didn't trust Christine enough to feel like he wasn't gonna get hit))

I was shaking. I forced myself to breath deeply. I wouldn't let myself go into shock. That would only make things worse. Going into shock could wait until later. I was quite close to swearing and screaming at Christine for not thinking things through but I bit it back. She probably had known what she was doing. Plus, I have never sworn before, and today will not be the first time. "He have to get out of here." I managed. I didn't add what else I was thinking. Before I go into shock and pass out.

((Addie, it was in a protective way. If they were gonna get hit, he was gonna try to take the blunt of it, keeping her in better shape than him.))

"First, I'm going to check on the people in the cars, I don't want anyone to die on my part, regardless of their actions," I said, running over to the crashed cars. I pulled a crowbar from my jacket and pried the door off of one car. I looked in. "Freaking Americans!" I yelled. "They perfected the self driving car before us! There's no one in here! It's... remote controlled..." I thought about it. "We have to go!"

I could agree with that. I got to my feet. It was weird to use a cane, but I really needed it. Crutches would be better, but this would work. Hatsu was in caw form and willing to carry Lenora on his back. I was fine with that. I wasn't gonna be able to do that myself. I still had no idea where were were, or how to get back to Lenn's house

"I think I know what you're thinking, and 'm sorry. I was being a bit obnoxious, but in my defense, 'm British," I said. "So, are you undercover as well?"

"Well, thanks for confirming my theory, you are also a spy. Lenora told me about her being a spy. And no, I'm not a spy. I was flipping kidnapped." I said. "Do you know where we are and how to get back to Lenn's house?"

Dang it. "I'm not a spy, undercover as in... that American show, Undercover Boss! Fantastic program," I tried to cover up, but I knew this was the worst I've ever lied. "Yeah, fine, I'm a spy. I know how to get back to Lenn's house, but not sure where we are though. America is my third favorite place to visit and learn the geography of," I said.

"Well then; lead the way." I told her. I followed her, my head buzzing. Were all the people I made friends with spies? How had I ended up becoming friends with a bunch like them?

"Right-o," I said, leading the way out of the the barn. "Sorry I don't have any means of transportation except for a talking cow. But, I do have a growth serum. If you hand me that turtle and go to Japan, we can reenact Godzilla, but, you know, without all the nuclear consumption of Godzilla and Mothera." I smiled at my own joke again.

"What is wrong with you?" I asked her again. I'd left Ozzie at Lenn's house anyway. "About how far away from Lenn's place do you think we are?"

"Hmm, well a mile at least," I said.

I looked at the sky. It was sunset. It should get dark quickly. "We'd better pick up the pace. I want to be back at Lenn's house before it gets dark." I told her. I also felt we needed to save our energy. Jogging was the best solution. At school, before I got crutches, I could jog the mile in less than 9 minutes and still have energy to continue. We could make it. "Might as well jog." I told her and started. I was limping badly, my knee wasn't in good condition. I wouldn't have been able to even walk without the walking stick. I missed my crutches though.
