I ran staying slightly behind Christine, I didn't understand how this had all happened, I mean one day no one knows I'm a spy the next it seems like everyone knows, and things start going wrong.

"GET AWAY FROM ME, CREEP!" I yelled, kicking out with my leg. I kicked the table the light was sitting on and managed to knock it out of the way, freeing me from the blinding light I had just barely begun to get used to. Everything was dark and I was seeing spots left from staring at the light. I cocked my leg and managed to it into position to kick the table away, hopefully knocking the guy with a corrupted soul over and out. That's probably what would have happened, if it weren't for some unknown bodyguards standing just outside my field of vision with killer reflexes. One grabbed my mouth, clamping it shut, and the other grabbed my knee with one hand right as I kicked my leg out, right before my foot made contact with the table. He grabbed my calf with his other hand, forcing it backwards in an unnatural way and it made sense why the other guy was clamping my mouth shut. If he hadn't, the whole block would have know where I was. I heard and felt my leg break before I blacked out from the pain.
