I walked out of my lab and grabbed equipment from another lab then brought it back along with a vial of the virus. I carefully set the vial in something to hold it, then set everything up.

"They're still outside, so I'm working on a cure." I walked out again and grabbed some chemicals carefully checking every label.

"Keep an eye on the walkers?" I didn't need nearly as many chemicals as I had originally thought, I just needed the ones that made Exzander immune and the ones that stabilized them.

I carefully measured out the chemicals writing everything down and making sure I had space for a formula which I filled in as I went.

I walked through the hall that Natalie had trouble going through and to a room that her parents were in. It didn't effect me, but I felt bad. Though, the room had a great vantage point.

I thought I heard someone behind me so I turned around and almost screamed because the person behind me was my boss, no it was just a hallucination. I closed my eyes and counted to ten when I opened them again he was gone. I quickly turned around and got to work again until I felt a cold blade pressed against my neck, so it wasn't a hallucination...

"Put everything down, right now or I'll throw you to the walkers," he hissed in my ear. I carefully wrote the last letter of the formula then set everything down.

I rushed out to the hall and to the room that Natalie was at. There was some dude standing in the wall at the end of the hall. I sighed. This will take a few more seconds then I wanted. I put my bow away and took out my knife.

"W-why are you here?" I barely managed to get out.
"Because you're getting too close to the cure, you were supposed to die a long time ago, but you didn't. I'm here to fix that." I felt my throat close up a little out of fear, but tried not to show it.

The guy was on the floor, clutching his leg. I didn't pierce anything vital, he'd live if he sealed it up. I quietly walked to where I saw Natalie. I looked into the room and held back a yell.
