Nothing Left to Say

“What the zombies?” I looked outside.

I nodded.

“They won’t be much of a problem, they avoid us, remember?”

Draven: "Avoid us, but..." I gently gestured my head to Tony.

“As long as he stays close he should be fine.”

Draven: I nodded and kissed her head. "Amelia's taking a bit."

“She probably buried that stuff somewhere, she wasn’t proud of it.” I leaned back against his chest right as Amelia came back.

"Are we resting here for a little bit or going?"

Amelia: “You’re welcome to stick around for a little while, I have plenty of food.”
Nat: “Sounds like we’re staying.”

Draven: I nodded and pulled away from Nat. I grabbed her hand and walked into the house. Tony walked in after.

I smiled slightly and intertwined my fingers with his.

Draven: I looked around a little bit. The house was kinda messy with small piles of books and files shoved in stacks against the walls and papers with complicated notes and equations taped higher on the walls.
Tony: "D-do all science people organize things like this?" Draven's house was pretty clean, and so was Natalie's, but she had her mess in one room.

Natalie: Amelia and I said, “Yes,” at the same time, then looked at each other and tried not to laugh.

((I made cookie dough! Like, edible cookie dough, not meant for baking.))

Tony: I smiled softly at their laugh. I hadn't heard anything like it in a long time.

((Fun!))

Natalie: I smiled and Amelia pulled me away to show me what she was working on.

Tony: I stood in the middle of the room, now left alone with Draven. I slowly made my way to the kitchen. It was almost noon now, so everyone would want lunch.

Nat: Amelia was showing me her notes and even a finished product, “It isn’t a cure, but I was able to reverse engineer my part basically and it works well as a vaccine against the zombie outbreak. I’ve had a few people come through the area that were willing to try it, and they’ve said it worked well for them,” she told me.
“So how does it work? I mean this is different from Amy’s innate fear plan.”
“Essentially the same as a vaccine, it won’t stop you from getting bit like Amy’s plan did, but it stops the virus from infecting you. So as long as you can survive wherever they bit you, you should be fine.”
I nodded slightly, “Good work Amelia.” It was interesting because despite not agreeing with me and generally not liking me much it seemed like Amelia still wanted to get my approval, I could tell because as soon as I complimented her her face lit up.
“Thank you Nat.”
I smiled slightly, “Should we go rejoin the boys?”
“That’s probably not a bad idea.” We both walked to the kitchen to see what they boys were up to.

I was making chicken tenders. With the chickens in the back and the corn flakes in the cupboard and the almost untouched vegetable oil and spices, it was easy and I almost had them done when the girls came in.
"Sorry for invading, but I figured everyone would be hungry."

Amelia: “It’s fine, I’m a terrible cook, so I don’t mind the help.”

Tony: "Cooking is the only thing in life I'm good at." I started serving the chicken onto plates.

Amelia: “Thats interesting.”

I shrugged and set the plates on the table that Draven had cleared off.

“How can Nat and I help?”

"Oh, I got it. Just sit and eat, it's all done."

I nodded slightly and sat at the table with Nat, “I already filled Nat in, and it has been tested, but I made a vaccine for the zombie virus.”
