The Power of the Eyes

"Me! That's the problem!" I yell

I flinched and stepped back. "You're not a problem," I muttered.

I kept cooking and managed to get my eyes green again.

"Yes I am! I've caused problems to both of you!" I snap. I sat up, staring into her eyes. "I.. I almost killed you..."

"Braydon..." I couldn't think of what to say. "It's not your fault. You weren't in your right mind."

"I know.... But it was still me, and I could've stopped myself but I didnt . I was there, but not there... It was my fault, I couldve stopped me but I was in shock, that I let it all happen" I said sitting up, pulling my knees tightly to my chest. Tears almost falling but I kept them in as best I could. I didn't make a lot of a sense but, it was what came out of what I remember.

I stood up as well and looked up at him straight into his eyes. "You idiot, can't you see that I literally don't care! What's important is that we're alive and together!"

I huffed, "I guess you are still alive... But still, I feel bad, and nothing can change that." I quickly gave her a kiss on the cheek before lying back down.

I lied down next to him. I had a small heat in my face. "Fine, I guess I can't make you feel better..."

I felt her lye down jext to me, I let out a huge sigh. I needed thay

I looked at him before kissing his cheek. "You're my idiot," I muttered.

My cheeks flushed in a soft pink, I smiled before closing my eyes again to try to fall asleep

I slowly held his hand in my own.

I clutched her hand tight as she slipped hers in mine. I gave a smile before finally drifting off to sleep.

I smiled a bit and laid my head on his shoulder.

I woke up, refreshed. It was nice to have a good nap after everything, but my eyes still felt baggy. I tried to get up but felt a whole other body on top of me, it was Emma. I smiled a bit and softly kissed her forehead before gently shaking her shoulder. "Morning sleeping beauty."

I groaned, then blushed. "Shut up," I muttered, peering up at him with slightly open eyes.

I fake gagged, then ran upstairs.

I watched as my sister ran up the stairs, then looked back at Emma. "Have a nice nap?"

"There's food in the kitchen!" I yelled downstairs before grabbing a book and sitting down in my room to read.

"Yep, you?" I asked, standing up and getting food.

"Definitely. It was better with you." I got up with her and quickly ran up and kissed her cheek.

I smiled and grabbed him a plate.
