The Power of the Eyes

Guard: I cocked my gun and aimed it at her hand. I shot.

I didn't exactly know what was going to happen to us, even when this is our second time getting stuck here. I feel people grab me and drag me away.

Emma: I felt myself being hoisted up onto what felt like a table and being strapped down. Then, something was plunged into my neck and a few seconds later, I was able to wake up.

I flinched, but didn't stop.

I sighed as my partner and I walked over to her. He held her hand still with the palm flat against the table while I turned my gun around and slapped the end of it into her hand, hopefully breaking it.

I woke up strapped to a table making me start to have a small panic attack. Was Mel strapped up like this too? I was also worried about Emma.

I struggled for a second while I looked around. There were two guards in the room, standing at attention. "BRAYDON!" I yelled, hoping he was nearby. One of the guards walked over and backhanded me, hard.

I cried out involuntarily.

Emma: I heard someone yell. "MEL!" I called. I was backhanded again.
Guard: I back up.

I closed my eyes, "YEAH!?"

I was relieved. It sounded like she was in the next cell over. "YOU'LL BE OKAY!" I was punched this time, in the nose. The door opened and some creepy guy in his mid-twenties walked in. He had a lab coat on, so I could tell I was in for some pain. He was looking down at a clipboard.

I tried harder to get out.

Guard: I shot her again, this time, in the leg.
Emma: He looked up, and I didn't like the way he was smirking at me.

I stopped.

((Do you want to write Dr. Stone?))

Emma: "What do you want?"

((I don't know how to write him well...))

((Basically sadistic. Think Alistair, if you want.))

Dr. Stone: "Emma correct?"

"Who's asking?"

"Dr. Stone."

"Oh. In that case, I still don't care." I looked around.

"Well this is the first time you've been with us, so this is exciting."

I didn't let him know how scared I really was. "Whatever. I won't be having a long-term stay." I just needed to find any vegetation...
