"Hack them, but not damage them?" I questioned. If he said otherwise I would immediately throw down the idea. If androids could gain freedom peacefully then we could defeat CyberLife without hurting those who are being used by them.

"Yeah, just hack them, maybe alter their programming a bit if it would help them deviate, as you called it, easier. That is if you're ok with it."

I nodded. "So long as it doesn't damage them I'm okay with that. Does your cube work on only one at a time?" I asked. "If so I could help and interface with some of them too. My interfacing isn't as advanced as the android leaders is, but I would be able to get some to deviate."

"Now you're speaking my language. Hacking is something I do in my sleep." I frowned a bit. "I have done it in my sleep, altering a video game, but that's not the point."

"How do the leaders control them? Do all the orders come from one place?"

((So I discovered I'm not even the most gay cousin of my family. Dakota, my cousin, turns out, went from bi to full gay. And we have a lot more gay cousins... and that he was shocked I was bi. It a was funny, nice conversation with him.))

I frowned a little. "That's possible, though unlikely. The way CyberLife has done things until now has been on an individual scale. It would be hard to control a bunch equally with various different android models."

"If it's on an individual scale then yes I'll have to do it one by one."

"You won't be alone. I can help, you know." I gently rested my chin on top of Nic's head, wrapping my arms around his shoulders.

I nodded. "Luckily once an android goes deviant they can join me in interfacing with other androids, so with us doing that, and Aiden helping if we find another way for him to help better, it shouldn't be too hard, depending on the amount of androids they have. It couldn't be too many in this world. It makes sense for us to tackle that while the rest of you sneak in and find the humans behind it all."

Liv: Artemis smiled slightly and said, "This is going to be fun for the first time since before I ended up in Olivia's real world," then he seemed to notice that he had almost complimented something he wasn't use to so he tacked on, "If only this place wasn't so dirty..."

"If only the air in the two other worlds I've seen wasn't so dirty," I replied, rolling my eyes slightly. While some things around here weren't as clean as i the first two worlds, at least here I could breathe. Besides, it was less a matter of my world being dirty than it was the fact that we were all more outdoorsy than Artemis. Things were quite clean, we were just outside more.

Artemis: “It isn’t as dirty in my world because we invented some tech to help get rid of polution, plus you don’t have to be outside 24/7. And our water is actually clean.”

"Eh, their water is clean, but some water requires degermination. Besides, there's nothing like the fresh air that you don't have to invent stuff to decrease the carbon emissions that our worlds have been reduced to." I took a deep breath. "Besides, it's a lot quieter and you can see the stars."

"Plus being outdoors isn't a bad thing," Maddie pointed out. I quickly agreed with her.
"Yeah, I'd much prefer being out in the open to stuck inside all the time."

I nodded a bit. "Yeah, I like getting the best of both worlds."

I nodded but quickly changed the subject. "Maddie, where do you think that someone could set up a base like that in an attempt to take over?"
She hesitated for a moment as she thought about all the possibilities. "Since you've been gone there have been strange rumors about people seen at the Gorlan Ruins."
"Really?" I asked her uncertainly. "Even back 20 years ago that place was destroyed. so why would anyone pick there?'
"It is out of the way of prying eyes," she assured me. "And if the distance doesn't, it's the rumors of it being haunted."

I rolled my eyes and kept grumbling under my breath, they’d understand after they saw my world.

((Just saw Ant Man and the Wasp and the ending credit scene mentally scarred me. But I loved everything else.))

"Haunted schmaunted, ghosts don't exists. We should go when we have a solid strategy."

“We were literally just in a world full of ghosts...”

"Ah, no. They don't exist. Neither do angels or God or anything. No one helps us, what we have in science and science gives us the answers we need."

((Jaydinn, you missed an opportunity to have Kira get excited about haunted or kinda go "well, I'm used to that, so..."))
I shrugged a little. "It's not my place to say that kind of thing," I replied. "But something actually being haunted in my world? That's beyond ridiculous. Kira's world? Sure, wouldn't put it past that world. But here, definitely not."
