Dragon Born Reboot

Regan: “Sorry lost track of time, where are Marina and Leandro?”
Marina: “What are you looking for and what do you mean taking us?”

Octavia: "Leandro is in his tent. He got stabbed. He's been out ever since. I have no idea where Marina is. She said she'd talk to the mermaids, but that was hours ago."
Adrina: I swam back in front of her. "Rondris's mark of loyalty. He has all his soldiers branded, but halflings get his personal seal and a personal branding from the king himself. That fact that you have none tells me you haven't pledged loyalty to him. Keep it that way, please. He is recruiting or kidnapping halfings to fight for him because they are the most powerful of the mythics, second only to the rulers of their respective clan. The fact that you are royalty makes you more powerful than any other mermaid halfling that could be out there."

Regan: “Leandro got stabbed!?!”
Marina: “what kind of mythic is he?”

Octavia: "I know, right? By a mermaid! For being a siren and being with Marina."
Adrina: "King Rondris, Lord of Skies. He is the king of dragons. The most powerful of the mythics because of their number and strength." I sighed. "Check your friend's shoulders. The mark of their loyalty lies there." I looked out to my kingdom. So many innocent lives. I did not want to go to war, but I had to. I also knew I had to evacuate everyone not willing to fight to King Cedar's domain.

Regan: “Thats insane, is Sanabit ok? I’m guessing she ran straight for him...”
Marina: “We haven’t seen king Rondis at all, the only dragons we’ve seen are the ones that activated our powers. How would any of us have a mark?”

Octavia: I pointed to Sanabit, who was draped over Terriam and sleeping soundly by the fire. "She's fine, just tired."
Adrina: "I don't know who you've had contact with, I just need to take precaution."

Regan: I nodded slightly, “Have you two seen anybody?”
Marina: “That makes sense, sorry.”

Octavia: "No, just been with my brother, waiting for everyone to come back and for Leandro to wake up. Why?"
Adrina: "It's okay." I kept staring at my kingdom. "How's your father doing?"

Regan: “Just wondering.”
Marina: “He’s ok, he misses you.”

Octavia: I stared at them. "What were you two doing in the woods that it took you hours to get back?"
Adrina: I gave a bitter smile. "And I miss him. He's the only being I've ever truly loved with my whole heart. Other than you, of course. But your father... that man is something else. I almost gave up the throne for him so many times."

Regan: “Accidentally wandered into Fae country, time is weird there.”
Marina: I shrugged a bit, “If you say so.”

Octavia: "Uh huh." I believed that, but I also believe a detour was involved.
Adrina: I looked at her. "I did. I only made up my mind to return to my world when I had you. I knew within my heart of hearts that only I could create a safe enough kingdom for the day you'd return."

Regan: “What?”
Marina: “I believe that part. My dad’s just a bitter person now. He has days were he’s better sometimes even weeks, but yeah.”

Octavia: "Girl, you can tell me if you had any detours, I won't judge."
Adrina: I sighed. "I'm so sorry. That must be hard on you."

Regan: “We found out about a war and that’s pretty much it.”
Marina: “It’s fine. You said King Cedar earlier sounds woodsy I have a friend whose half elf and another who’s half fairy, could one of them be related to him?”

Octavia: "War?"
Adrina: "King Cedar of the fairies. He's very kind. His land has been designated as a safe haven. A refugee land. Neutral territory. I'm evacuating everyone who does not wish to fight to his land starting the next sun cycle, after I announce my allegiance."

Regan: “Yeah apparently there’s some big civil war going on between the mythics about how humans should be treated. As slaves or as equals.”
Marina: “Regan’s area than, she’s the half fairy one.”

Octavia: Now it was mine and Asher's turn to be thrown off. "Oh man."
Adrina: I nodded. "She must be the one King Cedar never shuts up about. He loves his daughter dearly and has anguished to me many a times about how he can not be with her."

Regan: “Yup. So that was fun.”
Marina: “Regan will be excited, she’s been wondering who he was as long as I’ve known her.”

Octavia: "What do we need to know?"
Adrina: "Truly a tragedy, then, that they had to be separated for so long." I started to lead the way from the balcony. "Tell me, Marina, do you have any questions for me? Anything I can tell you. You must have questions about your dear mother that have been burning in the back of your mind for years."

Regan: “All I know is my dad’s territory is a safe haven anyone is welcome in and that one side wants to destroy humanity for mistreating mythics and the other side thinks we should all live in harmony.” Ash scoffed a bit.
Marina: “I mean I understand why you left now and that was the biggest one.”

Octavia: I looked at Asher. "What?"
Adrina: "It's been my biggest regret, you know. But I'm proud to see what a beautiful young woman you have become, despite any grievances my absence has given you. You are strong, Marina."

Asher: “Nothing, what else did you hear?”
Marina: I nodded slightly, “What does the mark look like? So I know what I’m looking for. Also two of my friends are half dragon, should I be worried?”

Alexander: "Uh... the dragons..." I muttered.
Adrina: "You'll know the mark when you see it. As for your friends, I wouldn't be just yet. If they truly are good, they will not side with their father."

Asher: “What about them?”
Marina: I nodded slightly, “I know Ash was really upset about how the mythics are treated... him, Octavia, and I use to research mythics all the time and it really seemed to bother him.”
