New Year, New February RP?

"Good." I slid the knife in my holster on my ankle and pulled the picture of me and my dads out of my slipper. I put on my jacket and slid the picture into my pocket. "You can put your stuff in my bag, ma'am, I'll carry it."

"Well..." I opened my box, "I have some food." I pulled out an apple to show them. "I'm Leila Coleman and I don't know why I'm here."

I nodded slightly and handed it to him, there was also a blanket at the bottom of my box, “Does that fourth crate have anything in it?” I pointed at the one on the end without a name.

((What should be in there?))

((I don’t know Food? Water purifier maybe? Rope?))

((Water purifier, rope. Should we think about why they are actually out there?))

((Maybe some clothes and I was thinking it was some kind of TV show or something))

((That could work. I think they would be illegally kidnapped and unknowingly participated. Maybe it's a t.v. show/social experiement of sorts.))

((Sure! Maybe rich people run it and are allowed to watch it?))

((So the rich people kinda just pick randomly and the poor stopped questioning why people vanish for however long and come back very different from when they left?))

Inside it, there was a water purifier, rope, and a several changes of clothes for the three of us, all of them practical, but with expensive fabrics. "Someone wants us to survive, but they're doing the bare minimum they can do to help us."

((This might be a Hunger Games idea, but what if the rich people that are watching pay for them to either stay out there longer, send them tips, do whatever they want to them as long as they pay.))

I nodded slightly in agreement.

"Okay," I pulled my change of clothes out of my box, "I'm gonna go," I paused to look around, "over there," and pointed in a random direction.

((I like it.))

“Ok, but stay close, we don’t know what’s out there.”

I put the shoes on and set off to go find a large tree to change behind, somewhere Mr. Muscles over there was not going to see me. ((How do I write her falling into a hidden hole without it being cheesy? Or is it just too cheesy of a thing to begin with?))

I looked through the crate for a warmer shirt that was my size.

"I'm going to climb a tree, see if I can find a decent water source we can set up camp near it. Stay here."

I nodded slightly, “That’s a good idea.” I found a shirt and slipped away to change.

((You left me with making the decisions... we know i'm not good at decisions.))
As I was walking, I almost slipped into a hole, but luckily I was on the edge of it and was safe. "Whew. Be careful is right," I muttered under my breath. I started to change, hoping I couldn't be seen, even though I couldn't see them anymore.
