Aiden: I nodded and started walking, leading the way.
Alistair: "No? Oh well, the advice still sticks." I kissed her head. "You just have to have hope."

((That's how you know you did a good job at creating the character. Mine often go off the rails and leave me stranded at the station.))

I walked in step with Aiden, not letting go of him hand. I hoped Olivia had enough time to calm down about my decision.

Aiden: I smiled a bit and swung our hands when we walked. It was fun and a bit childish, but who cared?

((Lol, sorry about typos my phone is getting worse...))

I sighed softly, “I’m not really very good at that anymore... Hi Nic.”

((Oh god, today was Jason Grace's birthday! Next 5 min!))

Alistair: I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her against me. I was hoping it would calm her down.

((*dies again because of TOA3*))
"Hi," I managed uncomfortably. It was so tense I almost regretting challenging Morgarath. Almost, but not quite. I was temped to turn my attention to the horse, but didn't want to seem rude.

((Steve: He's my friend!
Tony: So was I.
Bucky: *Bleeding on the ground* This is so sad. Alexa, play Despacito.))

“The horse really wants some kind of snack. I can’t hear her thoughts in this world, but they all get the same look on their faces.”

I nodded, knowing the look from my time spent with Bronze and Ezra. "I don't have any or I would have giver her some before you guys even made it here," I replied. I turned to the horse, rubbing the spot in between her eyes gently.

Alistair: I gently pulled away from Olivia and dug through my bag. In addition to books, I packed some apples in here, even though I hated apples, it was just a good food to have packed for emergencies. I pulled one out and tossed it to Nic. "Here."

I leaned back a bit.

((When your dad tells you to be confident, but that literally contradicts your entire personality.))

Her ears perked up at she saw the apple in my hand. I offered it to her, keeping my fingers straight so she wouldn't accidentally bite me. She took it from my hand gently and ate it, and I couldn't stop the smile from spreading across my face, patting her neck gently.
((Ugh I SERIOUSLY want to make a character for DBH but how would an android even fit into this story at this point? And which version of the world would it be in anyway? I guess the character could be from the time before the events of the game?? Hmm..))

Artemis was still muttering to himself trying to figure out some kind of plan, he paused for a second and looked at Nic before asking if there was any way to pause a duel in the middle of it.

Alistair: I slid behind Olivia again and wrapped my arms around her. "Are you okay?" I muttered.

"Only if both sides agree to it, which is a rare occurrence," I told her, then looked at Artemis. "Don't worry about trying to figure something out for me. I was told things about his fighting style in my home. I'll be able to adapt to his style easily enough." I glanced at Alistair and turned my attention back to the horse.
((I gotta be up at 7:30 so I'mma sleep now. Sorry guys.))

Aiden: "Have you given her a name?" I asked, gently petting the horse.

I frowned a little and so did Artemis.

"No," I told him. "I'm sure that whoever Kira... borrowed... her from has already given her one." I glanced at Olivia and Artemis and bit my lip for a moment before speaking. "Can we all just be positive in the time before my battle?" I asked them, looking away again. "All you guys worrying about it is going to do is mess up my head before I fight him, which is the exact opposite of what I need."

I gently rubbed his shoulder. "It's going to be okay. Like Alistair said, we have to have hope. Everything will turn out all right, and if you die, I'll tear him apart with my own hands, screw the honorable rites of combat and all that."

I turned to face him. "No. Honorable rites of combat mean more than you're giving them credit for. To some people they mean everything. Don't reduce yourself to such a level by throwing them aside if things so wrong. Respect yourself--and me--enough to follow the rules of this." I grasped his hands tightly in my own. "And have faith in me. I know that I am doing, and I'll find a way to win."

I nodded a bit. "You're right, I'm sorry. I just... avenging is something that's kinda in my family business."

I sighed a little and wrapped my arms around him. "I don't plan on giving you anything to avenge," I murmured. "But I am sorry for putting you, and everyone else, through this. I know this was the right move, though. I can feel it."

((I think I've decided something.))

I moved one of my arms around him in a similar manner and gently cupped his face with one of my hands, using my thumb to gently stroke his cheek. "That's good enough for me, Nic."
